Mold Lock (compact injection molding machine) Labonos (3D translator)
Mold Lock is a desktop resin molding machine that enables high-precision injection molding.
The features of this machine are complete melting of resin and low-pressure molding.
General injection molding machines use a screw to mix and melt the resin, but this one uses a melting device outside the cylinder to melt the resin.
The resin is melted using a melting device outside the cylinder.
Also, gases are vented from the information of the molding machine, so it is possible to mold the resin under good conditions. Below is an image of a sample of a dumbbell test piece that we received.
The PP material is more than 4mm thick, and in general injection molding, it tends to sink or warp.
As you can see, it has a high degree of flatness and seems to have little stress on the resin.
It is said to be capable of high-precision molding without stressing the resin, and it seems to be able to measure the original physical properties of the resin, eliminating to the greatest extent possible the factors that cause physical properties to deteriorate in injection molding.
Labonos is a device that outputs resin molds by cutting, not lamination.
The lamination type leaves lamination marks and delamination, which is also a factor in strength reduction.
The cutting type is cut from a single piece, so there is no need to worry about strength loss, and even if you can't write a program, you can output a 3D model as is.
Other samples on display include a coaster made from recycled resin from marine debris.
Resin screws molded with super engineering plastics such as PEEK
Thick-wall molding with a thickness of 10 mm or more, etc.
Various samples were exhibited, and it was very interesting to see a different approach from general molding and forming.
It was very interesting.
