Sanko Gosei follows the following procedures to manufacture molds for injection molding.
(1) Mold planning
Receive product part drawings Discuss molding specifications and mold specifications.
Plan a large schedule at this point.
(2)Design
Finalize mold layout (structural study) and assembly layout
Create assembly drawings and parts drawing design drafting Drawing out material taking drawing Create material taking list
(3) Process planning
Planning of small schedule such as mold drawing, parts taking, parts list, parts arrangement, etc.
(4) Grinding work
Mold base
(Hanging hole drilling, grinding (grinder), boring (NC milling machine), pocket processing (NC drilling machine))
(5) Rough carving work
Roughing, rough machining (NC milling machine), finishing (NC milling machine, electrical discharge machining), hole drilling (NC drilling machine)
(6)Finishing work
Dimension check, grinding, parts assembly
(7)Assembling and adjusting work
Final adjustment (die spot machine)
(8)Inspection
A die is completed only when machining by cutting machines and non-cutting machines are combined efficiently. Recently, due to remarkable progress in machining technology, NC machines incorporating numerical control systems, etc., can produce workpieces as accurately as programmed, regardless of the skill level of the operator.
The key point is how to incorporate these machines into the mold making process.
