We introduce how our metal 3D printer (LUMEX Avance) is used for modeling.
Modeling Flow
(1) Metal powder is spread on the base plate to a uniform thickness (squeezing).
(2) Sinter the metal powder with a laser to form the shape.
(3) After sintering, spread the metal powder again at a uniform thickness and repeat laser sintering (10 times)
(4) After repeating the process 10 times, the surface is cut using an end mill.
The target shape is formed by repeating steps (1) to (4).
