You should be aware of the following regarding the strength of painted plastic moldings.
(1) The mechanical strength of the coated molded product is always lower than that before coating.
(2) Coating makes it easier for the problem of orientation during molding, which was latent in the molded product, to become apparent.
(3) Causes of reduced strength due to painting
(a) Notch effect of cracks in the coating
(b) Decrease in solvent resistance under residual stress of the molded product (the weld part may crack)
Table 1 shows the factors that affect the strength of coated products and countermeasures against them.

Table 2 shows the types of paint film defects and their factor classification
*In the case of partial painting, is it possible to cut off with a masking jig (avoid taping)
Consider how many times you can paint without cleaning the jig, considering quality and work efficiency
*2 When designing a coated molded product, the depth and width of the product will affect the coating quality and the coating work time.
Take care not to have a negative impact.
