We have installed two IEPCO processing machines to improve mold release.
The main conditions for applying IEPCO treatment are as follows
(1) When the resin used is an elastomer (TPO)
(2) Where mold releasability is poor
(3) Ribbed shape with depth
(4) Areas where mold release was poor after TRY prototyping.
(4) Places where mold release was poor after TRY prototyping.
However, even if processing is necessary, if the maximum workpiece dimensions (700 mm x 700 mm) are exceeded
the workpiece cannot be processed in the equipment.
If IEPCO treatment is not available, the mold is polished by hand by the operator, but this is a lengthy polishing process that places a heavy burden on the operator, and it also increases the man-hours required.
Therefore, by manufacturing large IEPCO equipment in-house, we were able to
The work size of up to 2000 mm x 1400 mm can now be processed.
This equipment has reduced the man-hours required for manual polishing of large mold nests from 80 hours to approximately 8 hours.
IEPCO treatment can be applied even to the tips of deep ribs, which greatly reduces the man-hours required for polishing.
