In January 2002, we began developing a humanoid robot that runs on two legs by utilizing both software and hardware engineering, including plastic molding process engineering, mold design and fabrication technology, design and fabrication of automatic machines and secondary processing machines. As a byproduct of the technologies developed during the development process, we have applied them to a variety of industrial plastic parts.
Here, we would like to introduce one of these technologies, the "fluid actuator.

(3) Energy saving - Fluid acts as a brake during position hold, eliminating the need for constant force application.
(4) Strong - Even when a sudden load is applied to the actuator, it is difficult to break due to the damper effect of the fluid.
(5) Stability - Easy to cope with hunting phenomena caused by mechanism rattling and responsiveness.
