The following are the goals of the G-FORM project.

Technical Problem 1: Non-use of high-pressure injection pumps in physical foaming equipment

In physical foam molding, gas must be pressurized in order to reliably inject a fixed amount of gas.

For this reason, physical foaming equipment is equipped with a pressure boosting function and a lightweight function, and is volume controlled.

We have therefore changed from volume control to pressure control in order to achieve foam molding without using this equipment, thereby making it possible to inject under pressure without weight reduction.

Once the gas pressure is known, the amount of gas that will dissolve in the resin can be calculated.
