There are a number of points to be aware of when dealing with metal 3D printers.
In this article, we will introduce some of these points of caution based on past examples from our company.
Collapsing and deforming of stereolithography

Contact with the recoater blades in the moulding area, which is designed to become thinner towards the tip.
The moulded object collapsed.
This is thought to be due to deformation of the moulded object during the laser sintering process, which caused the tip to fall over and come into contact with the recoater.

We have solved this problem by placing supports near the tip shape to prevent collapse during moulding and removing the supports after moulding.
